Many people, and in particular coaches, can relate to the power of visualisation and today, I saw this in action at its best.  I was facilitating an online workshop for trainee coaches and we were exploring how we can use visualisation techniques with our coachees.  As part of the workshop the trainee coaches also took part in some visualisation activities and when I asked them to use words to describe how one of the activities made them feel, here’s what a few of them said:

“Wholeness, love, compassion and power”

“Happy, content, made it, done it!”

“Calm”

“Free!”

“Light, Content, Comfortable, Secure, Happy”

“Proud”

“Confident”

“Encouraged”

“Accomplished”

“Excited”

This particular activity took around 10 minutes, which is quite incredible to notice the positive outcomes achieved in such a short space of time.  What I learnt from this as well, is that when we use visualisation techniques in large groups (today there were 21 trainee coaches online working with me) it can still be hugely moving and powerful.

If you’re a coach and you’d like to know more about the power of visualisation or you’d like to work with one of our coaches to experience some of our visualisation techniques, then feel free to get in touch.
