What will I learn?
The qualification is made up of one theory module and one practical module. You can choose just the theory module or add one the practical module depending on the requirements of your role.
Module 1 – Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment is a knowledge-only Award for those who are starting their journey as an internal quality assurance practitioners or for those who need to know about internal quality assurance but who are not carrying out quality assurance themselves. This might be people such as experienced assessors or centre managers, HR or quality assurance personnel.
Module 2 – Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment is for practitioners who conduct internal quality assurance of the assessment process from within a centre or organisation, by sample planning, monitoring and advising on the practice of assessors.

This qualification is aimed at those who work within a training and assessment environment and want to further their knowledge about internal quality assurance or for those who have been practising quality assurance and want to formalise their knowledge and skills.

Are there any formal entry requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification however specifically for the practical unit you will need to be able to perform the role of an internal quality assurer as observations of quality assurance practice are a requirement for these modules.
What can I expect?
Payment options
If you are paying for the course yourself, we offer interest free instalment payment plan options, which are agreed on an individual basis. Typically, this is a 50% pre-course payment, which is to be paid before the course start date, with the remaining balance paid over 3 monthly instalments or up to the course end date, whichever is the earliest date.
If your employer is paying for the course, you should provide a purchase order number at the time of booking and fees are expected to be paid in full before the course start date.
For online courses, deposit payments or full fees must be paid at least 7 days before the course start date.
For face to face training courses, deposit payments or full fees must be paid at least 20 working days before the course start date.
